Refund Policy

Effective for all purchases from DXFForge.

Summary

  • ❌ No refunds once files have been downloaded — they are non-returnable digital goods.
  • ✅ Free file replacement if a file is corrupted, unreadable, or doesn't match the preview.
  • ✅ Try before you buy with the free sample pack.

1. Why we don't refund digital downloads

Because every DXFForge purchase is an instant digital download, the file becomes available the moment payment clears. Once downloaded, there is no practical way to "return" the file — the value has been delivered. For this reason, all sales are final once the download link has been generated.

This is the standard policy for digital design marketplaces and matches what our Merchant of Record allows us to offer for instant-delivery digital goods.

2. When we will replace or refund

We will replace a file or issue a refund in any of these cases:

  • The file is corrupted or fails to open in standard cutting software (LightBurn, RDWorks, Inkscape, Illustrator, Fusion 360, Mach3, EZCAD).
  • The file significantly differs from the preview images shown on the product page.
  • The product page contained a material error (wrong dimensions, wrong format, missing format) that you only discovered after purchase.
  • You were charged twice for the same order due to a checkout error.

Contact us at hello@dxfforge.com within 7 days of purchase and we'll fix it — replacement, store credit, or refund, whichever you prefer.

3. What is not refundable

  • "I changed my mind after downloading."
  • "The design didn't suit my project after I cut it." (Use the free sample pack to verify quality first.)
  • "I bought the wrong design by mistake." (We will gladly exchange it for one of equal or lesser value — just email us.)
  • "My machine couldn't cut it." (DXF/SVG are universal formats. We test on real machines, but you are responsible for matching the design to your machine's capabilities and your chosen material.)

4. Full Access Bundle

The Full Access Bundle is a one-time digital purchase. Once you've downloaded any file from the bundle, the same "no refund after delivery" rule applies. If you haven't yet downloaded any files, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.

5. How to request a refund or replacement

  1. Email hello@dxfforge.com from the address you used at checkout.
  2. Include your order ID (in the receipt email from the Merchant of Record).
  3. Briefly describe the issue — and if relevant, attach a screenshot of the error from your cutting software.
  4. We respond within 2 business days (often within hours).
  5. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by the Merchant of Record within 5–10 business days.

6. EU consumer rights

Under EU consumer law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)), the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered immediately with the customer's express consent. By clicking "Pay now" you acknowledge that delivery begins immediately and that you waive the right of withdrawal once the download has started.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods — see section 2.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved within a day by email. Chargebacks filed without first contacting support may result in suspension of access to future purchases.
